The Photographer.
With over 20 years of experience, Shen is no stranger to photography. Starting with the family’s Yashica SLR camera from a very early age, Shen has grown into a commercial photographer covering hundreds of photo shoots in and around London.
Having spent his early years shooting mainly on film, he followed in his mother’s foot steps to take up the hobby of black and white photography, developing the film in the darkroom at home. He went on to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in IT and topped it with a Master’s Degree in Mass Communications – including advertising, PR and photography.
As a freelance photographer based in London, Shen has experienced a vast number of photo shoots, including weddings, cooperate events, parties, portraits, headshots and of course shooting in the studio. While Shen is the principal photographer at Budget Photographer London, he has teamed up with a number of other freelance photographers from around the UK to be able to meet the growing demand for talented, affordable photographers.
In an era of smart phones and social media - where content is king, Shen has decided to venture into tutoring, to aspire photographers and content makers to up their game and go on to create amazing pieces of art.
